This happened in my old house, it used to be a race track and someone died there. None of the houses are very old but I had this image of the guy who had died burned in my head for...well it's still there. It's more like two pictures, one's of the crash, the car was a swirling fireball of death and one's of the guy leaning against his car. He's wearing a 1920's or pre1920's racing outfit, I can't place clothing too well, he's got his helmet thingy on, it's a leather one, his goggles are on his hat, they're dark brown, like really dark brown, his hat's a pale brown. He's got a sort of chisled chin, but it's smooth and round at the same time, he's happy in that picture. He's wearing a white jacket and black pants, his car's number is 59 he's leaning against the side on the front, against where the engine would be. The car's cream in color with the numbers in dark blue.
I've yet to be brave enough to search this information. The actual encounter with the guy was while I was out back on the swing set, maybe 7 or 8 o'clock at night in mid October, I was really warm I had a long sleeve shirt on and it made me really hot when I was swinging, but suddenly I got really really cold and this shadow of a man passed in front of me. I was really scared but to me, the way he walked he seemed confused and almost as sacred as me. Needless to say I ran.
If you could check to see if I'm right I'd me much appreciated, again I'm a bit scared to, I used to live in East Hempfield Township Lancaster PA. Any clue as to what I truly encountered

Have you done anything to research it yourself? Perhaps you could visit the library and look for old records. How do you know it used to be a race track? Find the name and research that.
