So I have had quite a few experiences in my life but I am going to just write about the one place that had a lot of activity. I used in live at Eastwood Apartments in Ames, Iowa. Unit D.12 to be exact. Well one of the first nights being there I was holding my baby boy in my arms when I heard a crash from one of the back rooms... I then saw a long skinny dark shadow as tall as the wall dart fast as hell from my son's room... it went so fast down the hallway. I had a cat & he saw it as well, his eyes were huge & he ran & hid. I went back to the room to investigate & my son's closet doors were push inward. That was the crash I had heard. Another experience I had... I was laying in bed with my baby boy, in my bedroom, my boyfriend (now husband) was on the computer & I asked him, "Evan will you please close the closet door?" He didn't get up right away so I waited maybe 1-2 minutes & then asked him again but more irritated, "Will you close the closet door!?" The closet door then slid shut. Something had responded to me & closed the closet door for me... Another time I was laying on the couch & I was asleep or starting to. My boyfriend had just locked the door. Well where I was sleeping, my eyes faced the door. Well I thought I was dreaming & saw the door make a click noise and then open up by itself. So I said Evan the door just opened. I then woke up & the door was open & Evan was freaking out saying that the door just opened but he had just locked it. It was our front door. I don't know it was creepy though. Another time I was really really sick so I was in bed all day recovering. Well I woke up & I saw a boy at the end of my bed just staring at me. He was incredibly pale with dark dark dark circles around his eyes. He looked dead. He looked like he was maybe 15-16 years old. I wasn't scared though b/c he was staring at me with real concern... like he was worried about me... I then fell back to sleep, I was so sick. I then woke up again later & the boy was then right beside the bed staring at me. Again he was really concerned. I could tell by his expression on his face. & of course I just fell back to sleep. Another time I had went into our bedroom & my boyfriend was asleep, well I got on top of him and kissed him to wake him up but then I felt like something was behind so I looked back. I don't know, this sounds weird but I could feel the presence of the ghost. This experience proved it to me. Well I tried to shrug off the feeling & just started kissing my boyfriend again. Well that's when something hit the end of the bed where I was just looking. It freaked me out but Evan said it was nothing so we started kissing again. It then did it again. The noise was so loud & it shook the bed. I then got up... I was pretty much hysterical at this point & then something poked me with a finger on my back. Nothing was behind me at all! Another time I woke up in early morning to something shaking my bed. Literally shaking it. My boyfriend was laying next to me as well & I started shaking him to wake him up but as soon as Evan woke up... the shaking stopped. I was not dreaming. I was sitting straight up in my bed, eyes wide open while it shook. I later on found out that there was a fire up in that apartment (it was remodeled & looked different from the others) & I guess a whole family died there... Anyway that's my ghost story, still to this day I'm trying to figure out what kind of haunting it was. So any comments about what it was would be appreciated, thank you so much for reading!
